PG Diploma in Packaging at IIP
Kozhikode: The Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP), an autonomous body under the aegis of Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has invited applications for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Packaging for academic year 2017-18. The course is conducted at Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Hyderabad.
Allocation of Seats at IIP: The seats for every academic year are as follows:
Mumbai - 280 Seats
Delhi - 100 Seats
Kolkata - 80 Seats
Hyderabad - 40 Seats
Eligibility: Fresh Graduate / Graduate in Science / Engineering / Technology who have completed their education in the following area of specialization from recognized university or AICTE approved institution with minimum second class and maximum age of 30 years as on 31/05/2017 with age relaxation of 03 years for OBC and 05 years for SC/ST are eligible to apply.
Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying examinations can also apply, however, they must submit their results/ provisional results (as given by University) latest on the day of the personal interview and selection, as without their degree result, student are not eligible to appearing for personal interview and will be eliminated from the admission process.
Entrance Examination: The entrance examination is scheduled on June 15. It is multiple choices based (objective types) question up to graduation level with no negative marking on four sections namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Engineering of 02 hours duration. Question paper consist of 80 questions, 20 questions from each section. Students need to attempt any 20 questions out of 80 questions from any four sections with a maximum score of 100. First 20 answers will be considered.
