PG admissions in affiliated colleges of Calicut University; Register by Sept 14
Calicut University has invited applications for admission to Post Graduate Programmes in Affiliated colleges of the University of Calicut for the academic year 2020-2021.
The details of the seats that come under the ambit of Centralised Allotment are the following
- Government Colleges: All seats excluding the seats reserved for Sports Quota/Persons with Disabilities/ Lakshadweep Quota/Andaman & Nicobar Islands/Kashmir students/Tamil Linguistic Minority
- Aided Colleges- Open Quota Seats (Merit) and seats reserved for Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes
- Unaided Colleges & Self Financing Courses in Aided Colleges- 50% of the total seats including the seats reserved for SC/ST/SEBC
- IHRD Self Financing Colleges- 50% of the seats (including the seats reserved for SC/ST/SEBC) subject to the reservation rules of Government/University
All those seeking admission to PG programmes irrespective of the Quota (General merit/Reservation/Sports/Persons with disabilities/Kashmir Students/Tamil Linguistic Minority/Community/ Management etc.) should compulsorily register through Centralised Admission Process (CAP).
For Non English candidates applying for M A English, admission will be based on Entrance Test. The candidates who studied B A Degree in Thullal, Mohiniyattam, Bharatanatyam and Koodiyattam are eligible for admission to MA Sanskrit through Entrance Test. The University will conduct the above entrance examination considering the COVID19 situation.
Online registration can be done at https://pgcap.uoc.ac.in/pgcap2020/ by 5 pm on 14 September 2020. The list of Colleges and Courses, Indexing Rules, detailed eligibility conditions etc are available at the site and also in the Prospectus that can be downloaded from the website.
Online Registration Fees for SC/ST applicants is Rs 115 /- and those for others, Rs.280/-
