No lunch in schools, money may be distributed later: V Sivankutty
Alappuzha: Education minister V Sivankutty on Friday said that lunch will not be provided in schools when it reopens on November 1. The money may be distributed to the students later.
The minister said that uniform is not compulsory.
Differently-abled students can opt out of offline classes. Only two students will be allowed to sit on a bench. Only two are allowed on auto-rickshaws as well. This matter will be discussed with the trade unions.
Offline classes till afternoon followed by online classes is the current plan. Sanitisation, temperature and oxygen-level checking will be made available for the kids.
