NEET not to be postponed; SC rejects review plea
New Delhi: The review plea demanding postponement of NEET and JEE Main entrance examinations amid COVID pandemic was rejected by the Supreme Court on Friday. The review plea was filed by the chief ministers of six states jointly.
CMs of West Bengal, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Punjab and Maharshtra had approached SC demanding a review on its decision to permit National Testing Agency to go ahead with the exams.
On August 17 the apex court had rejected the plea filed by students of 11 states seeking postponement of the tests. The CMs had then filed the review plea.
