Navik (General Duty/Domestic Branch) and Yantrik in Indian Coast Guard; Apply by Jan 19
Indian Coast Guard, Ministry of Defence, has invited applications from male Indian citizens for the 2/2021 batch, for recruitment to the post of Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch) and Yantrik in the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union.
Educational Qualification: For Navik (General Duty), applicant should have passed 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics. For Navik (Domestic Branch), applicant should have passed 10th Class. For Yantrik, a pass in 10th class and Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) are needed.
Age should be minimum 18 Years and maximum 22 years. For Navik (GD) and Yantrik, applicant should have been born between 1.8.1999 and 31.7.2003 (both dates inclusive). For Navik (DB), applicant should have been born between 1 October 1999 and 30 September 2003 (both dates inclusive). Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy) candidates is applicable only if posts are reserved for them.
Selection: Selection will be based on an all India order of merit on their performance in Stage-I, II, III & IV (explained in detail in the Notification) and the number of vacancies available for the post.
