National Prize for research on Solid State and Materials Chemistry
Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, Bangalore and C.N.R.Rao Education Foundation, have invited nominations for National Prize for research on Solid State and Materials Chemistry.
It is awarded to recognize outstanding contributions in the area, by Scientists, below the age of 55 years.
Eligibility: Applicants should be engaged in research on Solid State and Materials Chemistry and should have made landmark contributions in this area with good publication records particularly in application oriented research.
Details of the Award: The awardee will be given a cash prize of Rs.1,00,000/- along with a citation.
Selection: The awardee will be selected based on the recommendations of a national committee constituted for this purpose and approval of the competent authority.
Application: Application in the prescribed format available at http://www.jncasr.ac.in/vc/Nomination_Form.pdf, along with relevant supporting documents and nominations, should reach ‘Dr. Indumati Rao, Education Technology Unit, Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, Jakkkur P.O, Bangalore 560 064’, on or before February 28, 2018, in an envelope super-scribed ‘Application for National Prize for research on Solid State and Materials Chemistry’.

The prize will be awarded during June 2018.
