National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG)-2021 on September 12
National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Under Graduate [NEET (UG)], 2021 will be held in offline mode [Paper-Pen] on 12th September 2021. The examination will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
NEET UG is for admission to the undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions in India including those governed under any other law in force. The courses to which admissions will be made based on NEET include, MBBS, BDS, BAMS/BSMS/BUMS /BHMS. NEET (UG)-2021 will also be used for admissions to BVSc & AH courses under the 15% quota of VCI in recognized Veterinary Colleges. The Result of NEET (UG) - 2021 may be utilized by some institutions for B.Sc. (H) Nursing courses.
Indian Citizens/ Overseas Citizens of India intending to pursue MBBS/ BDS from a foreign Medical /Dental Institute need to qualify NEET (UG) - 2021.
The seats available under different quotas based on NEET UG 2021 include (i) All India Quota Seats (ii) State Government Quota Seats (iii) Central Institutions/Universities/Deemed Universities (iv) State/Management/NRI Quota Seats in Private Medical / Dental Colleges or any Private University (v) Central Pool Quota Seats (vi) All seats including NRI Quota as well as Management Quota, in private unaided/aided minority/ non-minority medical colleges (vii) AIIMS Institutes across India/JIPMER. NEET (UG)-2021 will be conducted in 13 languages -English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
NEET (UG)-2021 shall consist of one Question Paper containing 180 Multiple Choice Questions from Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. Questions for all subjects will be in 2 parts. Part A will have 35 questions while Part B will have 15 Questions. All Questions in Part A are compulsory while the candidate needs to answer only 10 questions from Part B. Each correct answer carries 4 marks while each incorrect response will result in a loss of 1 mark. Qualifying requirements in NEET-UG 2021 are given in the Information Bulletin.

Application: Application for NEET (UG)-2021 has to be submitted online at https://neet.nta.nic.in/ in 2 Sets/Phases. The first set of information needs to be filled up by 11.50 pm on 6.8.2021 while the second set of information needs to be filled up by the candidates before the declaration of the Result/ downloading of Score Card during the period that would be notified separately through NEET (UG) Portal in due course. Application Fee: Application fee for different categories is as follows: General-Rs.1500/-; General-EWS/ OBC-NCL- Rs.1400/-; SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender- Rs.800/-. For those opting Centre outside India, the Fee will be Rs.7500/-.
