National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-PG 2021: Apply by March 15
National Board of Examinations (NBE), Medical Enclave, Ansari Nagar, Mahatma Gandhi Marg, New Delhi-110029, an autonomous organization of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India; has invited applications for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma, Post MBBS DNB and NBE Diploma Courses - 2021 session.
NEET-PG is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination for admission to various MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses in the country, under (i) 50% All India quota seats (all States & UT ’s) (ii) State/UT quota seats (iii) All Private Medical Colleges, Institutions & Universities/Deemed to be Universities all across the country (iv) Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions (v) Post MBBS DNB Courses and Post MBBS NBE Diploma Courses
However, the following Medical institutions are not covered by centralized admissions for MD/MS seats through NEET- PG 2021 (i) AIIMS, New Delhi and other AIIMS (ii) PGIMER, Chandigarh (iii) JIPMER, Puducherry (iv) NIMHANS, Bengaluru (v) Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum
Eligibility: Applicant should be in possession of MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate, permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the NMC/ the erstwhile Medical Council of India or State Medical Council and should have completed one year of internship or should be completing the same on or before 30th June 2021.
Those who have qualified the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (Screening Test) as per Screening Test Regulations, 2002 can also apply subject to the conditions given in the Information Bulletin at https://nbe.edu.in/
Test format: NEET-PG will be held from 2 pm to 5.30 pm on 18th April 2021. The examination will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) having 200 Multiple Choices questions based on subject/ knowledge area as per Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by the erstwhile Medical Council of India. Each correct answer gets 4 marks while an incorrect answer will result in loss of 1 mark.
To qualify in NEET PG 2021, applicant has to score the mark at 50th Percentile. SC/ST/OBC applicants have to get the 40th percentile score and UR PWD applicants the 45th Percentile score.
Application: Applications can be registered online at the NEET PG 2021 link at https://nbe.edu.in/ , by 11.55 pm on 15 March 2021.
Applicant can choose the exam city from the available ones at the time of registration from the available ones at the time of application. Centre is allotted on first come first serve basis.
Application Fee: Application fee is Rs 5015 and that for SC/ST/PWD/ (PH) applicants, is Rs 3835. The amount can be paid online.
