Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors Program 2020
Microsoft has invited applications for the Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors Program 2020, a program looking for student leaders with a passion for making a difference, building vibrant communities, and sharing the latest tech with their peers.
‘Learn Student Ambassadors’ are a global group of campus leaders who are ready to help fellow students, create robust tech communities, and develop technical and career skills for the future.
One may find himself/herself organizing a virtual hackathon to solve the world’s toughest problems or helping fellow students build their coding skills with Microsoft Learn. The Programme provides clear steps to help one learn and lead and thereby make a difference and empower those around.
Applications are always open and new Learn Student Ambassadors are selected and on-boarded once per quarter.
Once accepted, Learn Student Ambassadors get access to free tools, skill up with Microsoft Learn and other resources, and earn badges for activities and contributions to unlock exclusive benefits.
Learn Student Ambassadors recognized for outstanding achievements will be invited to become regional leaders, gain access to special events, and could be invited to become a MVP.
Applicant must be at least 16 years old, have valid identification and be actively enrolled in an accredited, higher education academic institution. Students from all academic backgrounds who want to grow their career and tech skills while making a difference in their communities may apply. Some experience in coding or technology is helpful, but we have tools and resources to help you learn in the program.
The program will give one back as much as one want to invest in it, and time commitment is flexible around one’s other responsibilities. The more time one invests in learning, leading, hosting workshops, and such, the more likely he/she is to achieve additional milestones and access new benefits.
Applications can be submitted online at https://studentambassadors.microsoft.com/en-us where the applicant will learn about the deadline date. New students are accepted into the program quarterly. Application has sections for a written sample, technology skills, and a short video introduction.
