Kerala Plus Two exams 2020 results declared; HSE pass percentage at 85.13
Thiruvananthapuram: The results of Kerala Plus Two exams 2020 have been declared. Education Minister C Raveendranath announced the results in a press meet here. HSE and VHSE results have also been declared. The HSE pass percentage is at 85.13, while last year it was 84.33 percent. The pass percentage in VHSE is 76.06.
Students can obtain the results from the mobile app PRD Live and websites www.dhsekerala.gov.in, www.keralaresults.nic.in, www.prd.kerala.gov.in, www.results.itschool.gov.in and www.results.kite.kerala.gov.in.
In case of various streams, 88.62% qualified for higher education in Science stream while it is 77.76% in Humanities, 84.52% in Commerce, 87.94% in Technical and 98.75% in Arts (Kalamandalam).
Out of the 3,75,655 students who attended the exams 3,19,782 qualified for higher education while 18,510 scored A Plus in all subjects with Malappuram having the highest with 2,234. A total of 234 students scored full marks.
While Ernakulam has the highest pass percentage in HSE with 89.02%, Kasaragod has the least with 78.68%.
114 schools scored 100 percentage pass.
The exams were conducted in two phases amid Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown.
Exams had begun in March and the pending exams due to lockdown were held in May. Government had clarified that those students who couldn’t attend the exams in May would be given a chance later.
Meanwhile, the minister said that certain changes will be made to the Plus Two certificates from this year. It will bear the photo of the candidate along with details of the parents.
