JNU CEEB: Apply by April 5
Kozhikode: Online applications are invited for Combined Entrance Examination for admission to M.Sc (Agri) Biotechnology/ M.VSc, M.Sc Biotechnology, M.Tech Biotechnology courses offered by various universities. The examination is conducted by Jawarlal Nehru University on 19 May 2017. Applications can be submitted online till 5 April 2017.
M.Sc (Agri)/ M.VSc Biotechnology: M.Sc (Agri) Biotechnology courses offered by Kerala Agricultural University, Thrissur, Tamil Nadu Agriculture University, Coimbatore, University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, Dr Rajendra Prasad Central Agriculture University, Pusa, Samastipur, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Panth Nagar, Indira Gandhi Krishi Viswa Vidyalayam, Raipur, Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya, Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Agricultural University, Latur and Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology are based on the result of JNU CEEB 2017. There are 159 seats for this course in these universities.
For M.VSc Programmes, a total of 16 seats are available at Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Hisar, G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Panth Nagar and Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat.
The candidates who want to apply for these courses must obtain 55% marks in Bachelor Degree. Those who are appearing for the final exam are also eligible to apply.

Application fee: General/OBC candidates must pay Rs.1000 as application fee and SC/ST, PwD candidates Rs. 500. Application fee for foreign candidates is Rs. 2640.
Test centre: There are 54 centres which include Thiruvanathapuram, Calicut, Coimbatore, Chennai, Bangalore, Madura, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune and Kolkata.
