JEE Main 2018 online exam evokes mixed reactions from students
Kozhikode: The Central Board of Secondary Examination conducted the JEE Main 2018 online mode on April 15 and 16 all over India. 2.16 lakh students appeared for the online exam in two days.
The exam evoked mixed reactions from the students across the country. For some it was a moderate level paper and for some it was time consuming. A small section of the students found the paper easier compared to offline mode that was held last week.
Noel Bejoy, a JEE aspirant said that he found the paper in overall at an average level.
“It was neither easy nor tough. Chemistry part was easy, Physics was of medium level where Mathematics was tough and time consuming,” he opined.
This was the same reaction most of the students gave on the paper.
Amar Prasad, another class 12 student said that Physics part was lengthy and time consuming. Chemistry had most questions from the organic part and was easy while Maths paper was difficult.
The offline mode exam was conducted on April 8 in which 12.43 lakh students appeared.
CBSE will announce the results of these exams on 30th April 2018.
The selected candidates will take the JEE Advanced Exam on May 20.
