Japan's Osaka University to cooperate with universities in Kerala
Thiruvananthapuram: Sandwich courses which helps post graduate students in Kerala universities to obtain credits from Osaka University in Japan will soon be implemented.
The decision was taken after Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan held talks with Global Engagement Executive Vice President at Osaka University, Dr Gent Kavahara in the conference hall of co-creative innovation building at Suita campus.
CM also requested to establish a center of excellence at Mahatma Gandhi University in mutual cooperation.
Dr Kavahara said that they are seriously considering the cooperation with Kerala universities and the sandwich courses are the first step towards it.
In Osaka university there is facility for 144,000 students to study in 11 graduate and 16 under graduate schools.
