Impersonation: Lookout notice against two accused teachers
Kozhikode: Lookout notices have been issued against two accused absconding in connection with a teacher writing Plus Two examination at Neeleswaram Government Higher Secondary School in Mukkam.
Lookout notices were issued against Nishad V Muhammad, the school teacher who wrote the exam and P K Faisal, who was on exam duty. Lookout notice was not issued against school principal K Rasiya as she does not have a passport.
Moreover, the police are investigating based on the mobile phone sim cards of the accused with the help of cyber cell. The police are also inquiring if someone else is using their sim cards to mislead the police.
On Saturday police went to the house of the three students, whose exams were written by the teacher, and recorded their statements. Police had found that all the papers of two Plus Two students, four questions of another Plus Two student and the computer application paper of 32 Plus One students were rewritten.
The result of one of the three Plus Two students, whose results were held back, was announced two days ago. It was announced following the demand to publish results excluding the four answers which were rewritten. The two others will appear for SAY examination.
Meanwhile, the absconding teacher has moved the court for anticipatory bail. The Kozhikode principal sessions court will consider the anticipatory bail plea on May 23.
