Impersonation: Documents seized, arrest likely
Kozhikode: Police have found many documents proving the teacher’s involvement in the case relating to impersonating and writing exams for students. It is learnt that arrest would follow soon. The documents were seized in the inspection conducted at the Neeleswaram school on the other day. However, police haven’t revealed more details about the documents.
The student had said that the answer sheet which was shown by the police wasn’t written by him. The police couldn’t find the answer sheet written by the student. Those answer papers will be crucial evidence which prove that the teacher hasn’t written them with the knowledge of the students. This can be found only with the arrest of the teacher.
Meanwhile, the advocate has approached the court requesting anticipatory bail. The teacher Nishad V Muhammed who is absconding since the incident came into light, has approached the Kozhikode Sessions Court seeking anticipatory bail. Mukkom police had registered case against three people including Nishad. The anticipatory bail was sought when the police moved towards arrest. The case will be considered soon.
Teacher Nishad V Muhammed, school principal K Rasiya and PK Faizal who also had the charge of examinations have been booked. The higher officials have found in the evidence collection held in the school, that the teacher has done some malpractices in the exams.
It was found that Nishad had written the English exam paper of two students completely and also altered the Computer Science answer sheets of 32 other students. The department had asked the two students to write the exams along with the SAY exam in June. The officials have given such an instruction so as not to hinder the entrance of the students to graduation level. However, the students have informed the officials that they will not re-write the exam. No decision has been taken on the 32 plus one students.
