Govt aims at reducing marginalization, improving academic excellence: Raveendranath
Kozhikode: Education Minister C Raveendranath said that at a time when the government is promoting general education in a big way major thrust will be organized towards reducing marginalization in education and to promote academic excellence.
He was speaking after inaugurating the MAPLE (Madappally School Academic Project for Learning and Empowerment) initiated by ULCCS on Saturday at Madappally Government High School.
MAPLE project aims at skill enhancement for students in areas like language enhancement, English communication, Science, Mathematics, social issues, commerce, business studies, and vocational subjects.
The project will also focus on career guidance classes to facilitate appropriate decision making process.
