Gandhi @150 Quiz of Calicut University: Participate by September 22
The online, ‘Gandhi @150 Quiz’ organised by University of Calicut, to provide an opportunity for all across the world to learn about Gandhiji’s life, work, historical timeline and principles will conclude on 22nd September 2019.
The last session of the weekly Quiz Competition, that was open from 2 pm on 5th August 2019, will close at 8 pm on 22nd September, 2019. Five sessions were held in earlier weeks.
This is a timed quiz with 5 multiple choice questions (categories including text, images, audio and videos) per Session to be answered in 100 seconds. These questions will be randomly picked from the question bank.
Entry into the Gandhi @150-Quiz is open to all who are resident of India or are of Indian origin. But for the competition prizes, only the students currently studying under the University of Calicut will be considered.
Participants need to register for the Quiz by providing the name, category/affiliation, e-mail address, telephone number, postal address etc.
Ten top scorers will be selected as winners from each session. Winners will be adjudged on the basis of maximum number of correct answers. In case of multiple participants having given same number of correct answers, the participants who take the least time to complete the quiz will be declared as the winner.
Each of the winners will be notified through telephone and or the email address that they provided along with their submission, within seven days of the result announcement. If a winner is not contactable within three working days from the result announcement, he or she will forfeit the prize and another winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entries in accordance with the above process until a winner is selected and can be contacted.
Grand Finale of the final round of Gandhi @150-Quiz will be conducted during the first week of October 2019 as part of the Gandhi Jayanthi celebrations at Calicut University Campus in which the winners from each session would participate.
Prizes for participants: Winner of first three positions would receive cash prize of Rs.5000/-; Rs.3000/- and Rs.2000/- respectively. All three winners will get Memento and Certificate. The weekly winners (10 nos. in each week) will be given Complementary Prizes/ Gandhi Literature and Certificates.
