Essay competition on ‘Plastic Waste Free India’: Entries by October 15
Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh has invited entries for the National Essay Competition on the occasion ‘Swatchhata Hi Seva 2019’ being organised during 11th September to 27th October, 2019, for supporting Plastic Waste Free Campaign.
The theme of the essay is ‘Plastic Waste Free India’.
Eligibility: Students who are pursuing Under-graduate and Post-graduate degree courses in various Indian universities/institutes/colleges recognized by the designated authorities can participate in the contest.
Specifications: The Essay should contain an Introduction, which introduces the problem area; a body, which may contain the problem discussion and solution approach. Towards the end, there should be a conclusion, which summarizes the work and analysis presented in the essay. The Essay should be written in English. It should be neatly typed on A4 size. The font must be in Times New Roman size 12. It should be limited to 3,000 words, excluding references.
Submission: Soft copy of essay should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org with 'Essay' mentioned in the Subject line. A self-attested colored scanned copy of valid student’s Identity Card showing the date of validity must be submitted along with the essay.
Entries may be submitted by 6 pm on 15th October, 2019.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners. The prize winners shall also be given a certificate. Names of the winners will be published on IIM Sirmaur’s website. Winners will be contacted subsequently for the distribution of cash prize.
