Educational institutions should not call for next year’s admission now, directs CM
Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has appealed to all educational institutions in the state not to call for admissions for next year amid lockdown. He was speaking to media after the coronavirus review meet.
“It has come to attention that some institutions have notified online applications for next year’s admissions. It need not be done now. Applications can be called for once lockdown is lifted,” he said.
However, CM also urged the students to productively use the lockdown period.
“Some prominent international institutes are providing online courses. Everyone may join such courses and effectively utilise this period,” he opined.
