Distance Law Programmes at NLSIU, Bengaluru
Distance Education Department, National Law School of India University; Nagarabhavi, Bengaluru-560072, has invited applications for admission to the Distance Education Courses offered by it, for the year 2018-19.
The courses are (i) Two year Master of Business Laws Programme (M.B.L) (ii) One - year Post Graduate Diploma Programmes in (a) Human Rights Law (PGDCRL) (b) Medical Law & Ethics (PGDMLE) (c) Environmental Law (PGDEL) (d) Intellectual Property Rights Law (PGDIPRL) (e) Child Rights Law (PGDCRL) (f) Consumer Law & Practice (PGDCLP) (g) Cyber Law & Cyber Forensics (PGDCLCF)
Graduate of any discipline from a recognised University is eligible to apply.
Applications can be filled online or downloaded from ded.nls.ac.in. Applications can also be obtained by writing to the ‘Director, Distance Education Department, National Law School of India University, Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru-560 072’, along with a Demand Draft of Rs.1,500/- drawn in favour of NLSIU DED Course, payable at Bengaluru.
Details of the course fee are given in the Notification at ded.nls.ac.in. All payments are to be made only through the Demand Draft drawn in favour of NLSIU DED Courses, payable at Bengaluru.
Copies of the certificates attested by any Gazetted Officer demonstrating academic qualifications (such as Degree Certificate/Pass Certificate issued by the Competent Authority or Convocation Certificate), have to be submitted with the filled application. In case degree certificate is not available or not issued by the university, a provisional passing certificate issued by the University and attested copies of statement of marks of all the years of graduation should be furnished. In case of non submission of the required supporting documents, application will be kept on hold. Applicant will be required to furnish the relevant documents by 31st October, 2018 failing which the Application will be rejected and the course fee will be refunded after deducting 30% of the amount towards processing charges. With respect to Foreign Degrees, applicants are required to produce equivalence certificate issued by Association of Indian Universities. Applicant should also attach 2 latest Passport Photographs, for the University record and ID card.
Last date for receipt of filled-in application by ‘The Director, Distance Education Department (DED) National Law School of India University, Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru -560242 (Old Pin -560072)’, is 30th September, 2018. It will be accepted till 15th October, 2018, with late fee of Rs. 500/-. The title of the course applied should be clearly marked on the envelope.
Contact Classes will be held at NLSIU, Bengaluru only and attendance to contact Class is optional. Annual/supplementary Exams will be conducted at Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata and Pune.
