COVID-19: Which are the entrance exams postponed?
New Delhi: In the wake of coronavirus spread in the country, many entrance examinations have been postponed.
JEE Main exam scheduled to be conducted on April 3, has been postponed. The new date hasn’t been announced yet.
However, the NEET exam, scheduled on May 3wil be conducted as per schedule. It hasn’t been postponed.
Also, no postponement of the NCHMCT JEE 2020, the national level entrance exam conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) for admission to the B.Sc. Course in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (B. Sc. HHA) across the Country, has been announced yet. The exam will be conducted on April 25.
National Hospitality Teachers Eligibility Test (NHTET April 2020) has been rescheduled from 11 April 2020 to 9 May 2020.
The entrance tests to ICAR and JNU have been scheduled in April, May months. However, Ministry of Human Resource Development has said that a decision in this regard will be taken after evaluating the situation.
In the wake of coronavirus spread, annual school exams were stopped. Class 10, 12 exams were also stopped.
Ministry has asked Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) and National Testing Agency (NTA) to inform of the new dates of various exams and to schedule it causing no inconvenience to students.
