Central Universities Common Entrance Test 2020: Apply by April 11
Applications have been invited for the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) for admission to different programmes of 14 Central Universities and 4 State Universities. CUCET provides a single window opportunity to the students to seek admission in these Participating Universities (PU) / Institute(s) across the country.

The Eligibility for admission to each Programme is given the link of the University concerned at the website.
CUCET pattern: The examination will be of 2 hours duration. For UI & PG Programmes, the paper will have 2 parts having multiple choice questions only. Part A will have 25 questions from Language, General awareness, Mathematical aptitude and analytical skills. Part B will test the Domain Knowledge in which the applicant will have to answer 75 MCQs. This part may consist of three/four/five sections. Each section will have 25 questions. A candidate is required to answer a set of any three sections (75 questions). However, he/she must ensure that he/she fills right circles in the OMR Sheet corresponding to the question numbers attended.
For Admission to some Integrated Programme/MBA/LLB/MCA or any other general Programme, only one paper comprising of 100 MCQs covering English language, reasoning, data interpretations/numerical ability, general awareness and analytical skills will be held.
Each correct answer will get one mark. For each wrong answer there will be deduction of 0.25 marks.
For RP Programmes (CBT based): Part A: Language, general awareness, mathematical aptitude, analytical skills and Research Methodology, comprising of 50 MCQs. Part B: Domain Knowledge, comprising of 50 MCQs. There will be no negative marking in research program (RP) exam.
CUCET for UI & PG will be held on May 30 & 31, 2020 and will be OMR based. CUCET for Research Programmes will be held on June 6 & 7, 2020. List of Test Centres and the time schedule for the tests for different Programmes are given in the website.
Application: Applications can be submitted online at https://cucetexam.in/ latest by 11th April, 2020. Application fee will be Rs.800/- for UI and PG Programmes, and Rs.1000/- for Research Programmes for General/ OBC/ EWS Applicants. It will be Rs.350/- and Rs.450/- for SC/ST applicants. There is no application fee for PWD Applicants.
Application fee can be paid using net-banking/debit/credit card/UPI.
An applicant can apply for three programmes from three Participating Universities (PUs) by paying application fee as mentioned above. An applicant can further apply up to 3 additional PU’s (3 programmes each) by availing Add-on facility by paying additional fee as Rs. 800/- (Gen/OBC/EWS applicants) or Rs. 350/- (SC/ST applicants) for UI & PG Programmes and Rs. 1000/- (Gen/OBC/EWS applicants) or Rs. 450/- (SC/ST applicants) for RP Programmes. While doing so, a University can be repeated in add on.
Answer Key will be uploaded on June 1, 2020 for UI and PG Programmes and on June 8, 2020 for Research Programmes. Grievances on Answer Keys can be submitted during June 2-4 and June 9-11 respectively. Corrected Answer Keys if any will be notified on June 8 and June 15 respectively. All results are expected on June 26, 2020.
