BTech mass copying: Principals of 4 colleges to be summoned
Thiruvananthapuram: Principals of colleges where mass copying was reported during the B.Tech supplementary examinations of Kerala Technical University will be summoned. Copying was reported in 4 colleges. The official complaint will be handed over to the police after receiving the report from the respective principals. The incident took place on Friday during the third-semester examination for Linear Algebra and Complex Analysis. As a result, the examination was canceled.
Answers were copied using mobile phones after the questions were captured and shared through WhatsApp. It is understood that the students received help from outside. The syndicate subcommittee has decided to seek a detailed report on the incident.
The principals of these colleges have been summoned to appear at the University headquarters on Monday. If outsiders have been involved in the act, then the university will have to seek the help of the police. The official police complaint will be filed after receiving the report from the principals.
University Vice-Chancellor MS Rajashree stated that a meeting of all the principals will be called for conducting future exams.
