Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India (J.L.N.B.C.E.H. Anusandhan Bhawan, No. 61-65, Institutional Area, Opp ‘D’ Block, Jankpuri, New Delhi-110058), has extended the last date for application for nominations  for the AYUSH Awards of CCRAS, 2018.

Nominations can now be filed up to 15th November, 2018.

Under the AYUSH Award Scheme of CCRAS, 2018, outstanding and significant contributions in the field of Ayurvedic Sciences will be recognised under the following categories.

Best Research Paper Award: to be given to the scientists and researchers working in any institution in the country and abroad for original and outstanding research contributions made primarily in the field of Ayurveda in clinical, literary and drug research separately. The original research work should only be of during last three calendar years from the year of award. The Award comprises a certificate, a citation, a cash award of Rs 50,000/-  and a memento or plaque for each category.

Young Scientist Award: The award is to be given to the scientists and researchers working in any institution in the country and abroad for original and outstanding research contribution(s) made primarily in the field of Ayurveda in clinical, literary and drug research separately. The age limit for the award shall be up to 45 years on or before 1st January of the year of application. The Award comprises a certificate, a citation, a cash award of Rs 1,00,000/- and a memento or plaque for each category. 

Life Time Achievement Award: The purpose of the award is to give recognition to individuals whose life time work has contributed significantly for enhancing Ayurvedic knowledge and practices. The award is to be given to the best practitioner, the best researcher and the best academician, separately, working in any institution in the country and abroad in the field of Ayurveda for contributing a great deal of service to the nation in different spheres of activities in Ayurveda. The Award comprises of a certificate, a citation, a cash award of Rs.2,00,000/- and a memento/plaque for each category. 

Best Teacher Award: The purpose of the award is to give recognition to the eminent teacher who has contributed significantly for enhancing Ayurvedic knowledge and practices. The award is to be given to the best teacher in the field of Ayurveda for contributing a great deal of service in different spheres of activities in Ayurveda in clinical, literary and drug research, separately. The Award comprises a certificate, a citation, a cash award of Rs.2,00,000/- and a memento or plaque for each category
