Technology Development Board, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India has Invited applications for the National Awards for Successful Commercialisation of Indigenous Technology.
The National Awards will be presented on the Technology Day on 11th May, 2019. Awards are given under different categories (i) Industrial Concern (ii) MSME (iii) Technology Start-ups.
Under the Industrial Concern category, a Cash Award of Rs. 25 Iakh would be given to an industrial concern which has successfully developed & commercialized an indigenous technology on or after April 2014. In case, the technology developer / provider and technology commercializer are two different organizations, each one would be eligible for award of Rs. 25 lakh and a trophy. There will be one award in this category.
MSME: Cash Award of Rs.15 lakh will be given to MSMEs which has successfully commercialized a product based on Indigenous technology on or after April 2014. No. of Awards i this category is 3.
Start-ups: Cash Award of Rs.15 Iakh will be given to technology start-ups for promising new technology with potential for commercialization. There in one award in this category.
Committee may change the number of Awards to be given or may defer if the entries are not found suitable.
Application should be submitted online at http://www.tdb.gov.in, on or before 31st January, 2019. Separate application should be made for each indigenous technology commercialized / promising new technology with potential for commercialization developed by start-ups.
Enterprises desirous of competing for the awards may refer to TDB Website, http://www.tdb.gov.in and register via ‘National Award Registration’ link. After registration applicant should fill and submit the form.
