Applications invited for Global Policy School 2020
Centre for Public Policy Research (CPPR) invites applications for the 8th edition of its prestigious Global Policy School (GPS) - Cohort of April 2020. GPS is a globally acclaimed certificate course designed for hands-on understanding of the public policy paradigm.
GPS, initiated by CPPR in 2012, is designed as a five-day residential workshop on Public Policy. With an alumni network spread across 37 countries, GPS has nurtured young leaders whose work has catalysed policy transformations for real-world public challenges.
It aims to give a holistic understanding of public policy - its formulation, analysis, communication and evaluation - based on real-time situations to the aspiring change inducers and global leaders. Each of the modules in GPS is curated by seasoned policy experts and practitioners with stress on interdisciplinary experiential learning.
Previous faculty of GPS has included the likes of Mr Devi Prasad IES - Former Advisor to Government of India, Mr Raj Cherubal - CEO of Chennai Smart City Limited & Dr D Dhanuraj - Chairman of Centre for Public Policy Research.
“The Policy School takes a very practical approach to Public Policy. The learning has helped my organisation a lot in writing opinion pieces as well as policy briefs and sharpened my skills in research and policy making,” says GPS Alumni Chofor Che Christian-Aimé (GPS 2015) from Cameroon. He is the Co-founder of Central African Think Tank- CACLiTA.
