AICTE-UGC Test for holders of suspended Engineering Degree: Apply by Sept 30
All India Council for Technical Education, Nelson Mandela Marg, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi-110070, will hold the second test for students who were enrolled during the academic years 2001 to 2005, for .E./B.Tech & M.E./M.Tech in Engineering in 4 Deemed to be Universities and whose degree were suspended by Supreme Court of India.
The Supreme Court had suspended the Degree of B.E./B.Tech & M.E./M.Tech in Engineering awarded to students who were enrolled during the academic years 2001 to 2005, in (i) JRN Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, Rajasthan (ii) Institute of Advanced Studies in Education, Rajasthan (iii) Allahabad Agricultural Research Institute, Allahabad (iv) Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation, Salem, Tamil Nadu. It also had directed AICTE-UGC to conduct tests (2 chances) both in written as well as in practical for the concerned students under their joint supervision.
The second examination in this regard will be held in December 2018. PG examination will be held on 10th December 2018 followed by practicals in next two days. The UG examination will be on 16th December 2018 followed by practicals in next three days.
Registration for the December 2018 examination can be done till midnight on 30th September 2018 at the ‘Deemed Universities Exam’ link at www.aicte-india.org or at at deemeduniversity.aicte-india.org directly.
All students who have enrolled for June 2018 examinations and could not qualify the same, are also required to register afresh. The first examination was conducted on 3rd & 10th June 2018.
