Admissions at Bengaluru Ambedkar School of Economics: Apply by June 30
Bengaluru Dr. B.R. Ambedkar School of Economics (BASE), a Unitary University, Bengaluru, Government of Karnataka, has invited applications for the Under graduate and Post Graduate Programmes offered at the University for 2020-21.
Programmes offered are (i) Five years Integrated M.Sc. (Economics) course with an option to exit after 3 years and (ii) Two years M.Sc. (Economics) course. Courses offered by BASE University are full time and residential.
Eligibility: For admission to the Five years Integrated M.Sc. (Economics) course with an option to exit after 3 years, applicant should have completed 12th Std/ equivalent Exam with English as one of the Languages and Mathematics as core subject and obtained a minimum of 65% marks in aggregate (60% for SC/ST category students).
Application Fee for Integrated Programme is Rs.200/--for GN, OBC and Rs.100/-- for SC/ST. There is no application fee for PWD category applicants.
For admission to the Two years M.Sc. (Economics) course, applicant should have completed B.Sc. or B.Sc. (Honours) in Economics, with Econometrics, Mathematics and Statistics as other major courses in the degree with minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ST) in aggregate or B.A Honours Economics with minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ST) in aggregate. Applicant must have studied Mathematics at the higher secondary or higher level
Application Fee for the Masters Programme is Rs. 300/- for GN, OBC and Rs. 150/- for SC/ST. There is no application fee for PWD applicants.
Applicants are required to apply online for the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) 2020 and appear for the common entrance test conducted by the CUCET 2020. Selection to the Programmes at BASE will be based on the marks obtained by the applicants in CUCET.
