Admission schedule for 3 more SF MCs issued
Kochi: The Admission Supervisory Committee (ASC) has today issued the admission schedule of Malabar Medical College, Calicut, Al Azhar Medical College, Thodupuzha and Azeezia Medical College, Kollam approving the prospectus submitted by them. As per the schedule, the last date for online submission of application form is 6th September 2016.
According to the data published by the ASC, Al- Azhar Medical College and Super Speciality Hospital, Thodupuzha and Malabar Medical College, Calicut have 150 seats each for MBBS course and Azeezia Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Kollam has got 100 seats for 2016-17.
Detailed admission schedule is as follows:
Last date for submission of online applications: Sept 6
Publication of individual application on the website of Medical College: Sept 7
Last date for notifying defects, if any, by the individual applicants: Sept 8
The date of Publication of eligible candidates: Sept 9
The date of forwarding of the list of eligible candidates to the ASC: Sept 9
The last date of receipt of print out of online applications with DD attached: Sept 9
Date of Counselling/Admissions of 1st round of applicants: Sept 17
The last date for Second Round of Counselling /Admissions: Sept 27
The last date up to which students can be admitted against vacant seats arising due to any reason: Sept 30
The application for admission shall only be online, as per the directives of the ASC issued on 04.08.2016. The Medical Colleges are directed to immediately give wide publicity about the admission time schedule and submission of online applications, through themedia and in the college website. The Medical College shall submit the records before the ASC to establish that publicity has been given, as directed by the Committee.
Stating that the prospectuses submitted by these medical colleges do not contain the detailed information about the college as well as the faculty details, the Committee directed the colleges to publish the same for the information of the students.
If any applicant has got any complaint on the list published by the college in its website and forwarded to the ASC and published in the ASC website, may register a complaint with the ASC, the Committee noted.
