33 pc mark enough to pass CBSE 10th exam
New Delhi: Giving relief to students, the Central Board of Secondary Education has extended the passing criteria for SSLC students from 2019. All candidates are exempted from separate pass criteria in internal assessment and board examination. Hence, students need to get a minimum of 33 percent marks in theory and practical or internal examination of each subject to pass the board exam.
“The result will be computed in each subject taking into account combined marks obtained in internal assessment and board exam and those who secured 33 percent marks will be declared in that subject,” stated CBSE in a press release.
In case of a candidate is absent in practical or internal assessment, the marks will be treated as zero and result will be computed accordingly.
