1000 hi-tech schools to come up in state, says Minister C Raveendranath
Meenangadi: Minister Professor C Raveendranath said that 1000 high quality schools will be developed in the state within the next one year. He made the statement while inaugurating the new academic block of Meenangadi Gov. Higher secondary school.
“There are 141 schools in the state that are growing to international standards. The government aims to construct new buildings along with developing the infrastructure” he said.
The minister also said that by the first week of March, Kerala will become the first digital state in the education field, after converting all classrooms from standard one to twelve hi-tech. He also added that student based curriculum will be developed for all the schools in the state.
The minister also inaugurated Kaniyambatta Gov. UP School’s new academic block and a new building of Kottathara Gov, Highersecondary School.
