National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), New Delhi has invited applications for admission to the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- Post Graduate (NEET-PG) 2023, the eligibility-cum-ranking examination for admission to various MD/ MS/ PG Diploma courses of 2023-24 admission session.

NEET-PG 2023 is the single eligibility cum entrance examination for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses for the academic session 2023-24 which will include (i) All India 50% quota seats for all States/Union territories of India (ii) State quota seats for all States/Union territories of India (iii) All Private Medical Colleges, Institutions & Universities/Deemed Universities all across the country (iv) Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions (v) Post MBBS DNB Courses, Direct 6 years Dr NB Courses and Post MBBS NBEMS Diploma Courses.

However, NEET- PG for 2023-24 will not be applicable for admission to MD/MS seats at (i) AIIMS, New Delhi and other AIIMS (ii) PGIMER, Chandigarh (iii) JIPMER, Puducherry (iv) NIMHANS, Bengaluru (v) Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum.

Eligibility: Applicant should hold a recognised MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate and also permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the NMC/ the erstwhile Medical Council of India or State Medical Council. Applicant should complete one year of internship on or before 31st March 2023.

Indian citizens or overseas citizens of India who have obtained their Primary Medical Qualifications from Medical Colleges outside India should have qualified the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (Screening Test) as per Screening Test Regulations, 2002 which is conducted by National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences. They should also satisfy the Registration/Internship conditions prescribed above.

Test pattern: NEET-PG 2023 will be conducted from 9 am to 12.30 pm on 5th March 2023 as a Computer Based Test. The syllabus for the exam shall comprise of subject/knowledge area as per Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by the erstwhile Medical Council of India. The exam comprises of 200 Multiple Choice Questions with each question having 4 response options/ distractors in English language only. Each correct Response will get 4 Marks. For each incorrect response, 1 mark shall be deducted.

The tentative list of cities where NEET-PG 2023 shall be conducted is given in the NEET PG 2023 Information Bulletin at https://nbe.edu.in/. At the time of online submission of application form, applicant will be required to choose the city in which he/she wants to take the test. The choice of city will depend on availability of the test centres in a particular city and the allotment shall be done on first come first serve basis.

Application: Application can be submitted at https://nbe.edu.in/, till 11.55.pm on 27th January 2023. Examination Fee will be Rs. 4250/- (For SC, ST, PWD, Rs. 3250/-). Fee can be paid online using Debit/Credit Card.

Edit Window for editing any information/documents (except Name, Nationality, Email, Mobile number and Test City) will be open from 30th January 2023 to 3rd February 2023. Edit Window to rectify Deficient/Incorrect Images (Photograph, Signatures, Thumb Impression) will be open from 14th February 2023 to 17th February 2023.

Admit card will be issued from 27th February 2023. Results will be declared by 31st March, 2023.

To qualify, applicant should secure the 50th percentile score. For SC/ST/OBC (Including PwD of SC/ST/OBC), it would be the 40th Percentile and for UR PwD, the 45th Percentile.
