Medical Counselling Committee notifies Special Stray Vacancy Round for MBBS seats

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducting allotments to MBBS for 2021-22, has notified a Special Stray Vacancy Round for filling up the vacant seats for MBBS after the Online Stray Vacancy Round for MBBS Seats.

The details of the vacant seats available for MBBS under All India Quota/ Central Institute/ Central University/ AIIMS/ JIPMER are given at https://mcc.nic.in.

No Fresh Registration will be there for Special Stray Vacancy Round. All pre-registered candidates who are not holding any seat are eligible to participate. Candidates who are not holding any Seat either in All India Quota or State Quota are eligible to participate in Special Stray Vacancy Round. However, candidates will have to do Fresh Choice Filling for Special Stray Vacancy Round.

All Registered candidates irrespective of their category are required to pay a Refundable Security Deposit of Rs. 50,000/- for participation in Special Stray Vacancy Round. The Refundable Security Deposit of candidates who do not join the seats allotted to them in Special Stray Vacancy Round will be forfeited.

Candidates who will be allotted seats in Special Stray Vacancy Round will have to report at the allotted Institute and join the seat with their original documents. Candidates participating in Special round will have to furnish an undertaking with respect to allotment of seats at the time of Choice Filling on MCC portal as under: “I agree to participate in the Special Stray Vacancy Round of NEET-UG Counselling, 2021. I affirm that I am not holding any seat in the previous rounds of NEET-UG Counselling, 2021 of All India Quota/State Quota I understand that these seats are precious in nature. Hence, if I am allotted a seat during the Special Stray Vacancy Round, I will join the allotted seat. If, due to any reason I do not join the allotted seat my security deposit of 50,000 /- will be forfeited and any action including legal action may be taken by the Competent Authority.”

A candidate already allotted & joined a seat in AIQ/State Counselling and a candidate who has been allotted a seat in AIQ Mop-Up Round & Stray Vacancy Round (for MBBS Seats conducted from 1st April to 11th April, 2022) by MCC earlier but did not join the allotted seat are ineligible to take part in the Special Stray Round.

Payment of Security Deposit for Special Stray Vacancy Round can be done from 20th April, 2022 to 3 pm on 21st April, 2022. Choice filling can be done fro 20th April, 2022 to 21st April, 2022. Choice Locking will be available from 3 pm on 21.4.2022 up to 11.59 pm of 21st April, 2022. Allotment result will be published on 23.4.2022. Reporting at allotted college can be done form 24th April to 5 pm on 28th April, 2022.
