National Centre for Aquatic Animal Health, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), has invited applications from GAT-B 2022 qualified students for admission to M.Tech. Marine Biotechnology programme sponsored by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, for the academic Year 2022-23.
Applicant should hold B.Tech. or BE in Biotechnology/M.Sc in any branch of Life Science including Marine Biology with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (under grading system) from any recognized university.
Applicant should have qualified in GAT-B with a score as follows: General 112; Economically Weaker Section (Gen-EWS): 65, OBC-NCL: 71, SC: 60, ST:60, DA: 60.
Application can be submitted online at https://www.ncaah.ac.in/ latest by 30.6.2022.
The reservation norms as per Government of India for DBT supported PG teaching courses will be adopted for admission.
The total intake for the programme is 20 - General: 7; Gen-EWS:2, OBC NCL:5; SC:3, ST: 2, DA:1.
Those selected need to remit an application fee of Rs 1100/-for general category and Rs 500/- for SC/ST candidates at the time of admission.
The selected candidates are eligible for a studentship of Rs. 12000 per month.
