Learning Resource Center, IIM Tiruchirappalli has invited applications for the engagement of 4 Library trainees, for a period of one year.
The objective of the scheme is to provide hands on training to qualified Library and Information Sciences postgraduates to help them find a career in the libraries of larger institutes.
A consolidated stipend of Rs. 15,000/- per month will be given to each selected apprentice during the period.
Eligibility: Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science. Knowledge of computer is essential. Previous working experience is desirable.
Age limit: Upper age limit would be 28 years as on 24 th May 2022. Relaxation is available in age limit as per Govt. rules for SC/ST and other special categories.
Selection: Selection would be through written test followed by interview.
