Thiruvananthapuram: Khader Committee, set up for revamping the school education in Kerala, submitted its second report. It recommended the state to reschedule the school timings from 8 AM to 1 PM.

Morning is the best time for learning activities while evening can be used for physical activities, the report said.

It also suggested making a 5-year integrated course mandatory for teaching aspirants. At present LP school teachers require a two-year TTC course (basic qualification: Plus Two) and others need two-year BEd (basic qualification: UG degree).
