Thiruvananthapuram: The applications for Plus One higher secondary admissions will be received from June 2 to 9. The trial allotment will be held on June 13 and first allotment on June 19. The main allotment will conclude on July 1 and the classes will start on July 5. The prospectus for the admission procedures was published by the higher secondary directorate on Monday.
Students can utilise the computer lab facilities and help of teachers from those schools where they completed their SSLC studies or any other nearby government or aided higher secondary schools. Help desks will function in these schools until the completion of admission procedures.
Applications can be submitted online through the candidate login link available on the website www.admission.dge.kerala.gov.in. Students can submit applications on their own via ‘Apply Online’ on the candidate login link.
Meanwhile, admissions to the management quota in aided higher secondary schools are carried out by the respective managements. 20 per cent of seats are reserved for management quota in all aided schools.
Those who wish to secure admissions in management, community, and unaided quota seats, should fill up special application forms from the concerned schools.
Students who completed their secondary education from other boards are required to produce migration certificates as well. Those who have qualified in CBSE examination will be considered for vacant seats that arise after the main allotment.
Only those CBSE students who cleared Mathematics-Standard examination can opt for Mathematics combination in the higher secondary.
