Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) entrance examination will be held on Monday from 10 am. KEAM is conducted for admission to B.Arch, B.Tech, medical and pharmacy-related courses in institutes across the state.
Around 1,22,083 students were registered for the exam this year. The exam will be held in 346 centres across Kerala.
The Paper I examination consisting of questions from physics and chemistry will be held from 10 am to 12.30 pm. Paper-II consisting of Mathematics will be held from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.
The government has declared a holiday for the examination centres on July 4. Covid protocol should be strictly followed in the exam centres.
The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) has instructed chief superintendents to appoint teachers for covid special duty at exam centres.
Apart from the admit card, the students must carry any one of the identity cards including Driving License, Passport, PAN card, Election ID card, Bank Passbook, Aadhar card, E-Aadhar, Hall ticket for Class 12 examination, and bonafide certificate from school.
The commissioner also informed that the admit cards should be downloaded from the website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
Special arrangements for COVID patients
Candidates who have tested positive for COVID-19 are requested to inform the matter to the respective centre mentioned on the admit card. Special arrangements will be made for such candidates in all centres.
