National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the NTA score of candidates who have appeared for Paper 1 (B.E/B.Tech) of Session 1 of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023, conducted in January/February 2023.

Candidates can view their score at http://jeemain.nta.nic.in through the link provided there by giving their application number, date of birth and entering the security pin displayed.

NTA score shows the relative performance of a candidate among all the candidates who have attended the examination in the shift in which the particular candidate appeared for Paper 1. It is a procedure evolved for making the scores of candidates over multiple shifts, who have taken the examination, comparable.

The NTA score of a candidate will be the ratio of the number of students who have scored marks equal to that of a candidate of less than that (say A) and the total number of candidates who have appeared for that paper in that particular shift (say B) multiplied by the factor 100 [(A/B) x 100]. The value varies on a scale from 100 to 0.

A total of 20 candidates have got NTA score of 100 in this session in Paper 1.

The second session of Paper 1 of JEE Main 2023 will be held in April 2023 and the registration for the same can be done till 7th March 2023 as per the Information Bulletin on JEE Main 2023 available at the website.

Rank of Paper 1 will be declared only after the NTA scores of Session 2 is also released. Those who had not registered for session 1 can also register for session 2. Those already registered for session 1 can also appear for the second session after registering.

In case of candidates who attend both sessions of Paper 1, the better NTA score will be considered for ranking. In case of those attending only one sessions, the NTA score of that session will be considered for ranking.

The NTA scores of Paper 2A (B.Arch) and Paper 2B (B. Planning) of session 1 will be declared in due course.
