Forward commission seeks mark relaxation in school teacher recruitment tests

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala State Commission for Economically Backward Classes among Forward Communities recommended mark relaxation for the candidates from the forward communities in the recruitment tests for the post of school teachers.

It also sought an amount of Rs 10 lakh for the unemployed who has high professional education for startups. Commission recommended a cut in the interest rates for women.

Centres may be opened in all districts for free training for educated youth. Other recommendations include providing career guidance, skill development, a scholarship of Rs 10 lakh to study abroad, a scholarship of Rs 3,000 for high school students, free training in competitive exams, including KAS etc.
