Thiruvananthapuram: Governor Arif Mohammad Khan rejected the explanation of Kerala University vice-chancellor VP Mahadevan Pillai over the exam row. He asked the university to explain the action taken against responsible officers.

Following this, the Pro-VC was entrusted with finding the responsible officers by the university syndicate.

The VC told the Governor that the unintended error happened as the exams were conducted in a rush. However, the Governor was not satisfied with the explanation.

The university courted rows after repeating the question paper of the previous year and also by providing the answer key to a student appearing for re-examination instead of the question paper.
