National Testing Agency (NTA) will hold the Test for Admission to the Diploma in Sport Coaching-2023 of the National Institute of Sports (NIS) from 3 pm to 4 pm on May 14, 2023 (Sunday) in Computer Based Test mode.

Test will comprise of 60 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and will be held at Ahmedabad, Ambala, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Faridabad, Gurugram, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, NOIDA, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi, Vishakapatnam, Dhaka and Kathmandu.

Questions will be from (i) Specialised Sports Theory (Any of the 26 subjects opted by the candidate in his application form) (25 questions) (ii) General Knowledge Theory Test (10) (iii) Logical Reasoning and Coaching Aptitude (10) (iv) Language and Communication (10) (v) Basic Computer Knowledge (5). The syllabus as prescribed by NIS is hosted on www.nsnis.org

Each question carries 1 mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect responses. The Section on specialised sports theory will be different for each candidate, as per the specialised sports opted by him/her. Other sections are common for all. Question paper will be bilingual -in both Hindi and English except the Section on Language and Communication which will be in English only.
