Alappuzha man's success story a true inspiration for govt job aspirants

Cherthala: For Vijayakumar, cracking PSC and SSC exams is not a major hurdle. In the last 12 years, this 33-year-old man from Alappuzha earned a place in 30 different rank lists released by PSC and SSC.

Additionally, he worked in six different departments in the past 12 years. Vijayakumar's success story has already inspired lakhs of job aspirants across the state. Yet everyone scratch their heads and wanted to know how he cracked exams with ease.

Hailing from Vayalar, Vijayakumar is son of Nadarajan, a beedi worker. He started preparing for PSC exams after completing BSc degree. He worked as an AC mechanic in the morning and studied at night. In fact, he successfully cracked his first attempt and joined as a police constable in 2011. He worked there for almost one year before joining as LD clerk in Health Department. Later, he worked in Panchayat and spent three years as Fisheries officer. Following this, he was appointed to Kerala University and later Cusat. Currently, he is working as a Senior Grade Assistant in Cusat.

In the past three years, his name was in around 15 rank lists. With this, many young job aspirants approached Vijayakumar to learn the secret behind cracking these exams.

Meanwhile, Vijayakumar has decided not to write any more exams in future. He has taken a year-long leave without pay to teach these job aspirants with the help of his wife.
