Writing for Television Fiction and Web series Course at FTII: Apply by May 15
Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, has invited applications for the TV Industry Oriented ‘Writing for Television Fiction & Web series’ Course of 24 weeks duration, to be held from August 19, 2019 to January 31, 2020.
Course Objective: After completion of this course the participant (i) will be well trained in the fundamentals of TV writing, which will put them on par with working professionals in the TV industry (ii) will have a professional approach while dealing with producers’ directors and broadcasters (iii) will have been exposed to different streams of thoughts in TV writing which will help them come up with out of the box ideas and stories (iv) will be capable of taking someone else (Producer/ director/ broadcaster) idea and developing it into a full fledged script.
Eligibility: Applicant should hold a Degree of a UGC recognized university or equivalent in any field.
Desirable: Experience of writing a blog, copy-writing for advertisements or scripts for film, TV or web. There are 15 seats for the course.
Selection: Selection will be based on application and Statement of Purpose (SOP) followed by Interview.
Course Fees is Rs. 1,65,760/- (without accommodation) (Course Fee - Rs. 1,32,000/- (non-refundable) + 18% GST - Rs. 23,760/- (non-refundable) + Security Deposit - Rs. 10,000/- (refundable)).
The course is full time and will be held from Monday to Friday. However, alternate Saturdays may be working. Accommodation will be provided on twin and triple sharing basis on payment, if available.
