Short term training course on laboratory diagnosis of COVID-19
COVID Diagnostic Training Centre at Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), Bengaluru, has invited applications from Indian nationals for a short term (5 days - Monday to Friday), full-time, on-campus residential Training Course designed to impart theoretical knowledge and hands-on expertise required in molecular biology techniques and BSL-2 workflow.
Training does not require handling of live SARS-CoV-2 virus. Skills mastered during the course will make trainees adept at performing molecular diagnostic assays in a clinical set up.
Applicant should hold Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in MLT (Medical Laboratory Technology) with a minimum of 60% aggregate score or equivalent CGPA. Age should not be more than 40 years as on 01.04.2020.

A statement of interest of not more than 100 words explaining the interest of the candidate in the course is essential. It may be attached as a separate sheet/copy along with the application.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for online interview.
Those joining will be given free boarding & Lodging and a subsistence allowance of Rs.5000/-.
A course completion certificate fee of Rs. 1,000/- will be charged from each individual on successful completion of the training.
