Punjab Agricultural University Ludhiana has invited applications for admission to Ph D programmes on all India basis in various disciplines for the academic session 2020-21.
The disciplines are; Agricultural Meteorology, Agronomy, Biotechnology, Entomology, Extension Education, Food Technology, Plant Breeding & Genetics, Plant Pathology, Soil Science, Horticulture (Floriculture & Landscaping), Horticulture (Fruit Science), Horticulture (Vegetable Science), Energy Science & Technology, Farm Machinery & Power Engg, Processing & Food Engg, Soil & Water Engg, Apparel & Textile Sci., Family Resource Mgt, Food & Nutrition, Extension Education & Communication Management, Human Development & Family Studies; Agricultural Economics, Biochemistry, Botany, Business Administration, Chemistry Microbiology Sociology Zoology
Minimum Qualification: Applicant should have an ‘Overall Credit Point Average’ (OCPA) of 7.00 (out of 10.00) or 70% marks or equivalent at Master's level in the respective or related discipline and an OCPA of 5.50 (out of 10.00) or 55% marks or equivalent at the Bachelor's level For reserved applicants (SC/ST and BC/OBC candidates) minimum eligibility marks shall be 65% and 50% respectively at Master's and Bachelor's level.

The Prospectus along with application form can be obtained from the Additional Director of Communication, Communication Centre, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, either by sending Bank Draft for Rs. 2260/-, drawn in his favour and payable at any scheduled Bank at Ludhiana or personally at the counter on a payment of Rs. 2120/- in cash from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m on all working days. The Prospectus along with application forms will be sent by post.
The duly completed application forms should reach the office of the ‘Registrar, Thapar Hall, PAU, Ludhiana-141004’ on or before the due date. Last date for receipt of applications without late fee is 26 November 2020 and with late fee of Rs. 1000/-, is 2 December 2020.
