Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, has invited applications on all India basis, for admission to Ph.D. programmes in various disciplines for the academic session 2019-20.
The disciplines are Agricultural Meteorology; Agronomy; Biotechnology; Entomology; Extension Education; Food Technology; Plant Breeding & Genetics; Plant Pathology; Soil Science; Horticulture (Floriculture & Landscaping); Horticulture (Fruit Science); Horticulture (Vegetable Science); Energy Science & Technology; Farm Machinery & Power Engg; Processing & Food Engg; Soil & Water Engg; Apparel &Textile Science; Family Resource Management; Food & Nutrition; Extension Education & Community Management; Human Development & Family Studies; Agricultural Economics; Biochemistry; Botany; Business Administration; Chemistry; Microbiology; Sociology; and Zoology.
Applicants should have an Overall Credit Point Average of 7.00 out of 10.00 or 70% marks or equivalent at Master’s or related discipline and an OCPA of 5.50 (out of 10.00) or 55% marks or equivalent at the Bachelor’s level. For SC/ST/BC/OBC applicants, minimum eligibility marks respectively at Master's and Bachelor's levels shall be 65% and 50% respectively.
Last date for receipt of applications, without late fee is 16 October 2019. Application fee and Examination fee as given in the Prospectus have to be paid. Applications can also be submitted with an additional late fee of Rs.1,000/- till 23 October 2019.
