PG Diploma in Rural Management at Institute of Rural Management Anand; Apply by Jan 10
Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), Gujarat, has invited applications for admissions to its two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM) for 2020-22.
PGDRM at IRMA accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), is a two-year fully residential Managerial programme, which prepares talented young managers to assume challenge-filled responsibilities in organizations that serve under-served communities in rural and urban India.
Eligibility: Applicant should be a graduate from any discipline, with a minimum of 15 years (10+2+3) of education, having 50 per cent (45 per cent for SC/ST/DAP (Differently Abled Person)) aggregate marks at the graduation level. The percentage of aggregate marks is to be calculated as per the practice followed by the concerned university or institution. In case the university/institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by IRMA by dividing obtained CGPA with the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant with 100. Those in final year of their graduation can apply if they expect to complete all the requirements of graduation before July 01, 2020.
There is no age limit for admission to PGDRM of IRMA.
Selection process: Selection will be based on IRMA Social Awareness Test (IRMASAT); Group Activity (GA) and Personal Interview (PI).
IRMA will be short-listing and calling applicants in two ways. Under the Merit-based Calls, applicants of General Category, who score above 85 percentile in CAT 2019/XAT 2020 are eligible to be shortlisted for IRMASAT and GA and PI process. In the Profile-cum-merit based Calls, applicants of General Category, who score above 80 percentile in CAT 2019/XAT 2020 and fall in the Profile-based call criteria will be shortlisted for IRMA Social Awareness Test (IRMASAT); Group Activity (GA) and Personal Interview (PI) process. The key criteria to shortlist candidates based on profile include (i) Excellence: Graduation from Top universities and Colleges (ii) Work Experience in Social Impact, Community Development, Livelihoods, Policy and Advocacy, Agriculture and Allied sectors (iii) Graduation in Social sciences, Development studies, Agriculture and Allied sciences. Cut off for the candidates of reserved categories will be decided separately at appropriate time.

Applicants need to register with a valid e-mail ID. Scanned or digital copy of photograph and signature (Maximum size: 512 KB) are to be uploaded at the appropriate place in the form. Other documents are also to be uploaded as per the instructions given at the website.
Application Fees is Rs.1,500/- for General & OBC and Rs.750/- for SC/ST/Differently Abled Person (DAP). The amount can be paid through the Payment Gateway while submitting the online application.
