Nursing, Pharma, Therapy UG Progammes at BHU Varanasi: Apply by July 23
Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221005, has invited applications for admission to the B.Sc Nursing, B.Pharma (Ayurveda), Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) and Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) Programmes for the session commencing in September/October 2020.
Admissions are offered for B.Sc Nursing in College of Nursing. BOT/BPT courses are offered in Self-financing mode at the Department of Orthopedics. B. Pharma (Ayurveda) is offered at RGSC, Mirzapur
Eligibility: Applicant should be Indian national, and should have completed 17 years but not crossed 25 years as on 31st December 2020. Applicant should have passed Intermediate / 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognized Board / University with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks for the General Category, 40% for OBC (non-creamy layer)/SC/ST/EWS Category, and 45% for PC in General Category. Those appearing in qualifying examination may also appear for the entrance examination. Physically challenged candidates are not eligible for B.Sc. Nursing course.
Selection is based on the All India written competitive entrance examination to be held from 10 am to 12 noon on 23 August 2020 (Sunday), at BHU, Varanasi. The test will have 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) with 25 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, Botany & Zoology. Each question will carry 1 mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers. The minimum percentage of marks to qualify the written examination shall be 50% for General category and 40% for OBC (non- creamy layer)/SC/ST/PC/EWS categories.
Entrance Examination Fee of Rs 1000/- for General /OBC Candidates, and Rs 750/- for SC/ST/PC/EWS category is to be paid online as per instructions given in online application.
