M.Tech admissions at National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology
National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), an autonomous body of Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, and a Premier Organization for Education, Training, R&D, and Consultancy in Electronics & IT, has invited applications for admission to the M.Tech programs in (i) Embedded Systems (ii) Electronics Design Technology, of two years' duration (4 semesters).
Eligibility: Applicant should have passed the B.Tech/equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (54% for SEBC/PWD and pass marks for SC/ST). Those who have passed the AMIE/AMIETE Examination in Electronics with 55% marks in section B in the AMIE/AMIETE Examination and having a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the field of specialization after acquiring the qualifying degree can also apply. Those awaiting results also can apply.

Admission shall normally be restricted to those who have a valid GATE Score. Non-GATE candidates can also apply. They will be considered against the vacancies due to the lack of candidates with valid GATE scores. These unfilled GATE seats will be first filled with Non-GATE candidates from Kerala State based on the nativity certificate. If seats are still remaining vacant, candidates from other states will be considered for admission.
